Abstract: The challenge of e-learning today is to produce a quality content that should be appreciated not only for the technological benefits, but mainly for the training effectiveness of proposed solutions. This paper presents a proposal for a web based educational platform promoting the Virtual Classroom system. The proposal, which emerged from the experience of a guidance project activated by the Polytechnic of Bari, is that of tailoring a Virtual Classroom on the real needs of students while contemporarily ensuring flexibility not only in terms of content, but also in functionality
